SCHEDULE

Beyond plenary sessions, we have facilitated conversations on key issues; Q&A with experts in engagement, leadership and philanthropy; round table conversations on impact areas and much more.  CLIC is an opportunity to connect with other changemakers on the issues that you care most about.  More details on the agenda and schedule for the Community Leadership and Impact Conference are available in the event app.

As you build your schedule, make sure to attend the SIGNATURE SESSION once each day! Also, save either the second or third breakout time each day for lunch, which will be available on May 1 from 12:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., and on May 2 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.

The proposed schedule below, including session titles and descriptions, is subject to change. Please remember that all details regarding the Annual Meeting of the Membership will be shared directly with CEOs; for your convenience, we are including that meeting for scheduling purposes only.

SIGNATURE SESSIONS AT CLIC

Each day at CLIC, we'll dive into a certain topic. These signature sessions, repeated several times daily, provide a framework for the rest of our content and are the foundation for building social capital in the digital age. When planning your schedule, make sure you attend one of the signature sessions each day!

WEDNESDAY, MAY 1: United Way of the Future

United Way has been a disruptor since the beginning. To remain the global leader in privately funded philanthropy, we must continue to evolve with the communities, partners, and stakeholders we serve. Small startups to large enterprise organizations are embracing productivity, flexibility and adaptation at tremendous speed. How can we activate our worldwide network together to lean into a growth mindset, harness innovation, leverage insights and ensure agility at scale? Working with local leaders across markets, we have designed a framework and vital behaviors that position us to do just that. Join us as we preview tomorrow’s United Way.

THURSDAY, MAY 2: Shared Purpose: Partnering with Companies to Create Positive Impact and Business Value

Have you wondered what "Shared Purpose" means and how it is working today in United Way/corporate partner relationships? Join us for a discussion about how their United Ways have reimagined the value to their corporate partners, including utilizing services like Salesforce Philanthropy Cloud.

FRIDAY, MAY 3: Compelling Digital Content

The ways in which we consume content continue to change rapidly and are fragmented across multiple platforms. Consumers now want immediate access to content via various formats: video, newsletter, podcast, social feeds, voice, linear-TV and more. How are we evolving in the face of these realities as modern media consumption lives at the intersection of these formats? This session will explore innovative strategies in content distribution from industry pros.
