Strategic Volunteer Engagement Summit

Engaging volunteers is a central part of United Way’s global business strategy and critical to achieving its mission. The Strategic Volunteer Engagement Summit, October 6-7, 2016, will explore how United Ways are taking decisive action to drive impact and increase revenue through volunteerism. Topics will be explored through presentations, panels, facilitated conversations, and trends in volunteering and service.

  • Identify volunteer engagement strategies that help United Way advance priorities in early childhood success, youth opportunity, social-income mobility and access to health.
  • Explore best practice on strategies that ensure volunteer engagement is a core function of United Way’s leadership and board and articulate how volunteerism supports shared goals at all levels of the organization.
  • Develop cross-functional approaches that respond to corporate and other targeted markets demand for volunteer opportunities.

Attendees will be asked to complete a short survey 2-3 weeks prior to attending the event.
